ALEXANDRA DEFACIO
Alexandra is a holistic therapist, reiki master, licensed colon hydro-therapist, lymphatic drainage masseuse and modern shaman, trained in the ancient Ayurvedic medicine and initiated in the Amazonian shamanism.
Born in Sao Paulo, Brazil, she has called New York City home since 1997, where she has been practicing the healing arts for over 20 years. She became interested in natural and alternative medicine when she developed a thyroid imbalance and holistic treatments helped her heal herself, at which point she discovered colon hydrotherapy.
With her transformation, she decided to become a licensed practitioner to assist people seeking healing through the detoxification of the colon and lymphatic drainage massage, and started working in clinics throughout New York City.
Though Alexandra found her calling in her early twenties, she was intuitive and able to tap into the world of energy and vibration at a young age. An awakening in 2012 during a spiritual experience in the Amazon jungle in Peru set her on a new path: she began channeling sounds and chanting in light languages that carry healing frequencies and are embossed with love and light.
Alexandra has a unique ability to intuitively sense the vibration of the body, which in turn assists her in guiding and addressing her clients’ unique imbalances in the energetic, emotional and physical bodies. She tailors her approach to the needs she senses, often translating energy into movement to release old patterns in the memory cells and the subtle energy field around them.
Her guidance leads her clients to truly encounter their higher selves by achieving real, sustainable change in their mind, body and spirit.
